Please visit the manufacturer's website to download the drivers for your device. You can use google to find the manufacturer's website if you do not know it. In the support section download the drivers for your specific make and model of the device for your version of Windows. Note: If the manufacturer only lists drivers for Windows XP and not for Windows Vista or Windows 7, that means the device is unsupported or incompatible with the unlisted operating systems. If you do NOT know the make & model of your device you can Search by Vendor / Device code as shown in device manager. In the device manager, for the device you need driver for, Right click properties for the device, go in details for the device driver.
You will see a code like per example VEN_8086&DEV_27D8&SUBSYS. The VEN code means vendor and the DEV code means device: in this case the vendor is 8086 and the device is 27D8. Once you have the two codes, go to www.pcidatabase.com. Enter the two codes and you should get the name of your hardware. From there you can search for a driver download for your hardware. I need little help with my tv tuner card. I bought it like one year ago, it worked on XP prof. But it doesn't work on my Windows 7 32 bit. So the problem is the driver (I think). On the disk which i got with the card there are two drivers for XP and rest of that OS like ME Win 98. And for Vista. I tried to install bouth of them but neather didn't work.
When I had it installed on my XP the programme name was honestach, and when I installed in for Vista the name was TV Expert, so I need some programme that is similar to this only for Win 7 When I open setup it says Philips SAA713x PCI TV card. Ok so when I isntalled driver for vista and opened the programme I noticed that there is no Picture, I mean I cant watch any channel neather to hear it. The only thing that works is the remote control I can change channel, or mute or basicly I can do everything but theres no picture.
So does anyone have any similar TV tuner card or had some silimilar problem, I would like to hear it, and hear how to solve my problem. Also I tried to go to propertis and set that compability but it didnt help. I don't speak English very well, Im sorry QQ This post has been copied!!!

As for the remote I've had several TV cards and all of them have had some kind of problem with the remote, if not at first further down the road. I don't think the manufacturers put much effort into making sure their remots work well. Even my newest PCI-e cards remote won't function properly.
I've pretty much decided that when I buy a TV card remote orn ot doesn't relly matter cause I've never had much success with them.Enjoy your TV.
